New Transgender Emergency Fund

The Transgender Advocacy Council will begin accepting applications from transgender and non binary individuals in need of essential supporting services. on August 1, 2021. The fund will cover individuals living in:
Ohio counties of Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren
Indiana counties of Dearborn and Franklin
Kentucky counties of Boone, Campbell and Kenton

What needs to happen first is DONATIONS so that we can meet as many requests as possible.  TAC’s goal for this first round of fundraising is $10,000.

Microgrants to individuals include the services below:

  1. HRT/Labs/Prescriptions/Copayments cost. If seeking assistance towards hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or another prescription medication, you must already be taking the medicine and have a valid prescription refill.
    Note that if you receive your gender affirming healthcare through Equitas, you should not need to pay out of pocket for these services.
  2. Uber/LYFT for medical appointments, Metro/TANK bus pass for work .
  3. Utility/Phone payment assistance (gas/electric/water utility bill, phone bill final notice required).
